Governing Committee Elections

The governance structure of the Homeowners at Laurel Park are prescribed in Section 3 of the Bylaws. Officers or the Executive Committed and members of the Property Committee are elected for 2-year terms. The term for the Nominating Committee is one year. The terms are staggered so that each year half of the EC and half of the Property Committee are up for election. If a committee member leaves office before the completion of their term, a replacement can be elected by the EC and if the term has not expired at the next annual meeting, the homeowners vote for someone to serve the remainder of the  term.
